One of my favourite blogs (BoingBoing.net) posted this pic of a Louis Vuitton shop window display in Dublin featuring the CCTV motif. Then in the comments on the blog post people around the world said they had seen the same display in their respective city. I've also seen it in Sydney. Does it make the display less compelling? Does it make the product and marketing message more generic and less clever? And why are those handbags $800? Hmm, meditate on this, I will.
$800 - ummm, derr, it's called product/brand positioning :-)
